Harpers Ferry, West Virginia
| These photos were taken March 2006. We made the mile walk up the hill to the cemetery, it was raining on our previous visit and did not make that trek. Harpers Ferry sits at the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers. The river seen in the graveyard photo below is the Potomac. The mountain face that can be seen in several photos is actually across the river in the state of Maryland. |
