Preserving the Past, For the Future
Take only photos, leave only footprints

Statues. They are just about everywhere and commemorate just about anything and anyone. I see them as a piece of history captured in time-almost like a photograph, but in three dimensions. I am particularly fascinated with the Confederate Monuments, there seems to be one near every courthouse or town square in Tennessee and Virginia. I have many more photographed and will be adding them in the future. For now here are a few of the ones I have photographed most recently.

Seafarer Monument, Biloxi, MS Tennessee State Capitol, Nashville Confederate Monument, Franklin, TN General Hatton, Lebanon, TN Founders of Nashville, TN
War Memorial Aud, Nashville, TN Confederate Monument, Henry Co, TN John Montgomery, Clarksville, TN Spanish American War, Knoxville, TN Monument Avenue, Richmond, VA
Virginia State Capitol, Richmond Washington Memorial, Richmond, VA Andrew Jackson, Jackson Square, New Orleans, LA Sam Houston, Huntsville, TX
