My Personal Scrapbook of the Civil War
people and places...a visit to the past...
Rebel FlagUnion Flag

History has always been an obsession for me. The Civil War has always been a source of fascination. Visiting the sites, paying homage, reflecting and trying to comprehend what happened at that time are all things I feel the need to do.

This section of my webpage represents all of the areas of my interest in the War Between The States. The relatives of mine who fought, my personal heroes, the places I have visited.

No direct ancestors of mine fought-they were too young or too old. But many uncles and cousins, fighting under both flags, fought, and some died. I salute them. As I salute every soldier, from Private to General. And I try to honor them here.

NOTE: as of 1/10/2008 I am completely redoing this section, so not all pages may be linked at this time. As I redo a page it will be re-added. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
