Henry Cemetery at Red Hill
Charlotte County, Virginia

Great Patriot Patrick Henry is buried here with his family at the plantation home where he spent his final years. Henry served five terms as Governor of Virginia and turned down a sixth. His final years were spent working as a lawyer and continuing to give speeches. He gave his last speech just three months before his death. His epitaph reads "His fame his best epitaph".
