Bradford-Willis Cemetery
Sumner County, Tennessee

Historic cemetery that sits to the front of the Bradford-Berry House. The home was built in the 1790s by Revolutionary War soldier Henry Bradford. The home passed through the family until recently, when much of the land was sold off to General Electric. The home was used as a local art gallery, but currently sits empty and abandoned. Wal-mart attempted in recent years to buy the land and destroy the home, but protests and a city ordinance was able to save this very historic home. Henry Bradford's daughter Cecelia married William Carroll, Governor of Tennessee, in 1813. Aside from the column monument, most of the tombstones are severely grown over with grass and some can barely be seen.

Location: Main St, Hendersonville, next to the General Electric plant.
