Logan's Chapel Cemetery
Wildwood, Blount County, Tennessee

Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church. The land was given by David Logan, the church first organized sometime between 1800 and 1810. His daughter was the first person buried here. Burial place of Revolutionary War soldier Gordon White, and War of 1812 soldier John Thomas. Many early settlers of this area are buried here.

Gordon White, VA Line, Revolutionary War, May 18, 1761-Feb 23, 1835
He and his family were originally buried on their farm near here, but were moved when the farm changed hands from the family.
Also buried beside Gordon are his wife, Ann Duddle, who died April 26, 1842 aged 70 years, and son John D. White, who died Jany 24, 1848 aged 50 years.
Above are the original markers, below is the goverment marker issued in 1976.
