Willow Mount Cemetery
Shelbyville, Bedford County, Tennessee

(from historical marker) CONFEDERATE CEMETERY
"In the cemetery north of the road are buried Confederate soldiers of the Army of Tennessee, who fell while opposing the advance of Rosencrans' Army of the Cumberland through Liberty Gap and Guy's Gap, in late June, 1863. Also buried here are soldiers of Forrest's Cavalry, killed in minor operations."

The Confederate section of graves is only a small portion of this very large cemetery near the center of Shelbyville, the county seat of Bedford County. Most graves around the Confederate Monument are marked as "Unknown".
