| This small Confederate Cemetery is located in Chattanooga, in the area of Silverdale about 12 miles from downtown. It is between the Lee Highway and Interstate 75 and across from a Motel 6. It is the burial site of about 155 Confederate soldiers who died in local hospitals. They had originally been marked by wooden markers, but those-and most of the identities of the soldiers-are not lost. |
