Smoky Mountain Cemeteries
Pollard's Cemetery

Located on Pollard Cemetery Rd, just off Pollard Rd and west of
Kodak Rd, about 1 ½ mile from Douglas Dam Rd.
Large, well kept cemetery.
Originally established by Payne McClary as a family graveyard, and enlargened
when Dr Feuquay Pollard gave land from his nearby farm.
Best known for it's 'grave house' in the middle for Dr Pollard's wife's grave,
as she 'loathed being wet'.

Payne McClary Aug 22, 1813 - May 10, 1868

All cemeteries hunted for, hiked to, and photographed by Kim Denny ©2001-2003.
Please respect all cemeteries you visit, and help keep the Smokies beautiful for everyone!
PLEASE NOTE: I do not live in this area and I have no relation to any of those buried here. I am only posting photos from graveyards that I have visited myself and only do some minor research on these particular cemeteries. If you do not see the information you need on the page, most likely I do not have that information!
