Located in Biloxi from Hwy 90 to the railroad tracks. Marked on many maps as "Old French Cemetery". Section nearest Hwy 90 is the oldest section. This is the only area I took photos in. A partial listing with photos I took is below. NOTE: I visited this graveyard on a vacation. I do not have a list, cannot easily get more photos, or do look-ups-sorry. UPDATE: As of August 29, 2005, thanks to Hurricane Katrina there has been considerable damage to the cemetery. I have even seen news video of coffins lying on the beach across from the cemetery. I may not find out the extent of the damage until I visit, which I have scheduled for mid-October. |
