  Located in Flat Creek, about 500 yds. north of junction of Flat Creek Road and Edward Groves Road. Surrounded by fence and locked, could not get close. Info from historical marker alongside road.

Marker says "In 1808, Steele, a Mecklenberg, NC planter, bought 225 acres of the 4,000 acre land grant of Thomas Gillespie. Steele gave part of that land for this cemetery."
