Killed at the Battle of Stones River Murfreesboro, TN Dec 31, 1862 Sadly, after being wounded, a friend risked his life to save Amos' watch and other belongings to return them to family. When Amos died, he had no identification and is now among the Unknown burials in Stones River National Cemetery His name is marked here, on the side of the marker for his brother, Uriah. |
