Confederate Cemetery No 2

We visited this site after seeing the sign along Interstate 65 south of Birmingham. I had no idea what to expect, and did not find much. The museum appeared to be closed. We found the Confederate Cemetery No 2 and the monument to the founder of the Home for Confederate Veterans, which is what this site had been(similiar to the one I have also visited in Nashville at the Hermitage).
